Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 1982. Maggie Grace is an American actress best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. After her parents' divorce, she left Worthington Ohio in order to settle at Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first part as Rachel's Room's main character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. The television film Murder in Greenwich, in which she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress on Lost during its initial two seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace left the series to concentrate on her professional film work. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken 2008) in Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) Replays of role. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season which ran between 2013 and 2014. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. A member of the Gyllenhaal clan she is the child of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and the older sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was in her teens She appeared in small roles in the films of her father and co-starred with her older twin brother on Donnie Darko, a popular cult movie. Then she appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win the Golden Globe Award in both the action drama Sherrybaby (2005) and the love story Secretary (2002). The two films received acclaim from critics. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006, including World Trade Center she received wider recognition for playing Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). The year 2009 was the time she was nominated for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her role of a single mom in Crazy Heart. The following years she appeared in comedy as well as dramatic movies: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Her other roles included Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller) and musicians in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as the role of the kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal was the writer and director of her debut film The Lost Daughter in 2021. The thriller that dealt with psychological issues was awarded the Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The Lost Daughter was also nominated for be awarded the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
