Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is a Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. Since she was a teen she sang in both the traditional and popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as delicate and sharp, but still having the grit of more mature singers. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations with fellow musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The show premiered in March 2022. was released following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer who performed as a solo performer on the show. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first female to win both of these awards.
